Persistence. Yep that’s it… Above every other good and bad quality “they” (successful people) have is, persistence or endurance. James 1:3-4. They don’t quit. They may fail, or mess up, but they don’t quit! This is so much easier said than done. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Waking up at 5am every morning, driving 45 minutes one way to work, putting in a 10 hour work day, driving 45 minutes to the studio, practice 3 to 5 hours at least 2 or 3 nights a week, drive 20 minutes home, eat, shower, say a quick prayer and go to sleep. This was what I did EVERY week for 2 years. This is what it took for us, as a band starting out. It was hard! It was NOT fun! But, passion is a funny thing.
Through that hard work, we got to experience what most people only dream about. We persisted, driven by a passion.
You have what it takes. I’m glad you’re here. I’m proud that you ARE taking the steps to move forward. Keep it up! When those pesky negative thoughts aires, and they will, remember why they’re there. They are the dumbbells in the gym of life. Keep on keep’n on. Your charter is getting swole!
Grateful To Share,
