I find myself flipping through Facebook faster and faster, these days. It “seems” as though everyone is fascinated with evil. I can’t stand to see it. I get why some want to spread the “news”, to bring awareness, BUT, enough is enough. It’s like we’re in a old school video game where ever bad guy comes all at once right before the “big boss” appears.
There are so many bad things going on in the world, it is hard to keep up with it all. ISIS, BlackLivesMatter, Cop Shootings, Bad Cops, Stock Market Jitters, China, Russia, Lebanon, Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran Nuke Deal, Immigration, GMO’s, Vaccines, Bad Doctors, The Lack Of Educations In American Schools, Planned Parenthood, Transexual-Homosexual-Bi-Pansexual-Pediphilia-Beastiality, National Debt, Human Trafficking, Black Panthers. This is what I scrolled across just today on Facebook…
I wish I could give you a list of great things that have happened to day, but I can’t. I had to flip through so much crap that I finally logged off…
Why am I writing about this? Good question. I don’t have an answer to the problems that we deal with. I have an opinion. If WE will propagate “Love YHVH (GOD), Love man”, take responsibility of bettering ourselves, and unite to help each other… The problems will become less and less. Easier said than done, I get it. I’m sure others have said the same thing, maybe, maybe not. I’m working through this as I write.
I hate, hate. Killing our enemy does nothing but create more hate. We have to pray that the Spirit of THE MOST HIGH does a work in their lives. I totally understand that if the allies had not fought and killed those of the evil axis, the world would be speaking German. The problem is, hate is still here even after the Natzies are gone. We can’t fight against all of these problems that I stated above merely by protesting, debating, preaching AT (the opposite of preaching to), or control the people with more laws. We do not fight against flesh and blood… but against principalities, authorities, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.
We have to fall on our faces, humble ourselves before Elohim, cry out to Him to fight for us. We need to hear, listen and obey His command. Don’t attack these evil entities with your prays of word or though, but call on YHVH to right the wrongs. We are to LOVE our neighbor. It is said that if we curse man, we curse YHVH, because we’re made in His likeness. So when we bless and love mankind, our neighbor, we in turn are loving YHVH. “All of the Torah and Prophets are hung on these two”
Let’s Tikkun Olam (Repair a broken world) through Tzedakah (Literally translated as Righteousness or Justice, but most used as Charity). This is WHY we are here, breathing, blood flowing through our veins. This is WHY YHVH gave us life and life more abandently. We are to be His hands and Feet in this broken world.
Smile as much as you can. Say Thank you. Say Please. Hold the door open. Let the car trying to merge, over. Say something kind to those that serve. (Waiter/waitress, bagger at the grocery store, cop, military, bank teller, you get the point) If you have clothes you don’t ware, give them to a shelter. Toys that don’t get played with will be played with at the orphanage. Find a good orphanage and give them food, NEW clothes, and money. “Here is the sort of fast I want- releasing those unjustly bound, untying the thongs of the yoke, letting the oppressed go free, breaking every yoke, sharing your food with the hungry, taking the homeless poor into your house, clothing the naked when you see them, fulfilling your duty to your kinsmen!”
Find as many of these little things to do in a day and over a period of time, you will see the impact of Tzedakah and you will Tikkun Olam.
For those that have been hurt however sever, this will be a hurdle you must overcome. The wrong done to you or your loved ones, was just that… wrong. Step back if you can and understand that “hurt people, hurt people” don’t be one, stop the cycle. This doesn’t condone what they did. This will give you a perspective of “why”. In most cases, they were hurt by someone and never reconciled their hurt, anger, and broken trust. As hard as this will be, cry out to YHVH for forgiveness and forgive those that caused the hurt. This will start the healing and reconciling process. Hate will have no place in you when Messiah Yeshua does His work in you. Hate will be replaced with compassion and love. The cycle of hate, death, hate death, will stop.
It would be so great to see Facebook covered in, people helping people. I would love to see whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things… or post on these things…
Trying to be Light and Salt in Love.
